As the founder and a partner of TheAppicurean™, I positioned this app as an iPad based amenity designed to enhance the travel and leisure experience of luxury hotel and resort guests. Uploaded to modify iPads, slides are displayed while tablets are docked and waiting to present offerings to guests as they enter common areas and guest rooms.

High-net-income-individuals and luxury hotel guests tap and slide screens for On-Premises and Off-Premises information. Activities and goods exclusive to the city each hotel is located in are offered through TheAppicurean’s™ recommendations, rich content, featured articles and vivid imagery. Advertising is positioned throughout the TheAppicurean’s™ amenity experience and is placed within articles as well as on select screens. Select screens may present advertising as an entire screen, half screen or quarter screen.

Critical: The user interface reflects that of a high-end digital magazine designed to appeal to ultra-affluent travelers. Functionally: The user experience is intuitive. Guests swipe and tap the tablet based amenity to discover content that piques even the most discerning consumers’ travel and leisure interests.

The experience flows from The Start Screen, which consists of a full screen slideshow, fading from one slide to the next to Splash Screens full of rich media. From the Sign In Screen to Cover Screens, to Category Screens, to Articles, to Gift Guide Screens, travelers are offered a provocative luxury experience.

The entire TheAppicurean™ experience is designed as a walled garden. We also offer luxury hotels a high-end white-label opportunity.
